We could not be more proud of our HPHS Marching Band! Around twenty band members were able to perform with the 2021 Jacksonville State University Band during their halftime performance this weekend!!

As you know, because our Covid-related absences were above 15% we have been requiring masks for two weeks. I am proud to say that our COVID-related absentee rate has come down considerably since we are not having to send students home as close contacts while wearing a mask. This is great because we want our students at Holly Pond K-8 to be at school and not have to learn remotely. Beginning Monday, masks will not be required at Holly Pond K-8 , but they will be highly recommended considering students do not have to be sent home if wearing a mask. Please consider having your child continue to wear his or her mask for a little longer. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work our way through this pandemic.
